Recreation
There are a number of green spaces for various types of recreation within Fulford. There are two children's play areas, one on Fordlands Road and the other on School Lane. Both cater for toddlers and young children. Both play areas are on one side of much larger green spaces. The School Lane area is used for football and cricket matches.
The village green is located at the edge of the River Ouse.
