North Yorkshire Police Warn of Bogus Callers

North Yorkshire Police advise to be aware that there has been an increase in potentially illegal nuisance door to door callers across the York area. If you see these people breaking current Covid rules they should be reported to the police. They may not be genuine and are often becoming aggressive. Our advice is do not open your door to them and DO NOT BUY ANY ITEMS ON YOUR DOORSTEP! If you have any vulnerable relatives or friends please pass this information on to them.
