Jan Wilford
Councillor
Jan Wilford moved to York in 2007 and is a teacher of English as a Foreign Language at a school in the city centre. She was co-opted to the council in November 2009 and, being interested in the environment and sustainability, she is a member of the Open Spaces and Social Hall working groups. She has recently become a member of the Cemetery Committee and its working group. Jan is also on the committees of Fulford Show and Fulford Community Orchard. Her interests include growing fruit and vegetables on her parish council allotment, cycling and sustainable living.
