Invitation to online meeting of the Climate & Ecological Emergency Action Group

Monday 12th July 2021

Are you concerned about climate change and the environment?

Would you like to get together with other people to tackle some of the issues at a local level? If so, please come to this meeting.

Fulford Parish Council has declared a Climate and Ecological Emergency and this online meeting on 22nd July 2021 at 6.30pm is for local people to meet to talk about what matters to us and what to do in the area of Fulford. The goal is to a form a group or groups of like-minded people who can get things done together.

Examples range from how to increase wildlife in our gardens or create hedgehog highways, to big ideas, like whole streets powered by solar. Could Fulford have a Repair Café or a tool library, so that we can share our resources to save the world’s resources and our money?

Take a look at the Parish Council’s Strategy which can be found here https://www.fulfordparishcouncil.org.uk/uploads/attachment/519/fulford-climate-and-ecological-emergency-vision-and-strategy.pdf and see which interest you.

Or bring your own ideas!
